Jameson was another one of the street boys in Cite Soleil. The director of an orphanage went into Cite Soleil with the intention of helping these boys. Jameson was another boy selected by a gang leader to be surrendered in 2017. He was the oldest boy at the orphanage and took it upon himself to be a leader to the others, always being helpful to the staff and looking out for the little ones.

He started his journey with Haiti Mama when the orphanage he was in closed its doors. He was reunited with his father and siblings and lives with them in Fujie.

The area where he is currently living with his family is still gang controlled and it is time for us to move him and his family closer to the rest of the Haiti Mama family, in our new rural location. While he is settled with his family, the family needs support while they are relocating and rebuilding their taxi/driving business.

Jameson is currently 17 years old and will be going into the 8th grade this fall.
